Adelaide University

Design System Vision | Multi-Platform Consistency | Design System Delivery | Cross-Functional Collaboration | Operational Discipline & Team Culture

Driving collaboration and alignment between two legacy digital teams, designing a future-proofed information architecture, and directing the creation of a tokenised design system on Adobe AEM.

Core Program Context

Adelaide University was formed as a result of a strategic merger between the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide, with Deloitte serving as the strategic partner. Within the merger, the program I was involved with was the discovery, design & launch the go-to-market website that would lay the foundation for the day-1 live site and future digital experiences built on Adobe’s AEM platform.

In my role as Website Product Design Lead, I guided cross-functional teams, comprising content designers and UI/UX experts, to develop a robust information architecture, design system and base foundation templates that would adapt to the merged universities evolving digital needs.

The following 2 case studies detail these iniatives.

Case Study 1: Aligning stakeholders for a unified Information Architecture

Case Study 2: Mitigating timeline risks in website delivery
